Opened on June 6, 2000, the National World War II or D-Day Museum in New Orleans is the only museum in the United States that addresses all of the amphibious
invasions of World War II, paying tribute to the more than one million Americans who took part.We are offering this tour in cooperation with the Northwest Georgia Veterans Group to celebrate the lives and service
of the wonderful men and women who served in World War II. We will have two days to tour this incredible museum and the sights of New Orleans' French Quarter and Riverwalk areas. Our hotel for all
three nights is just steps from the French Quarter and the Mississippi River.
